PSHE
Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) Education plays a vital role in supporting pupils’ personal development, wellbeing and character. Our PSHE curriculum is age‑appropriate, inclusive and progressive, enabling children to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to stay healthy, safe and prepared for life in modern Britain. Through carefully planned lessons, pupils learn about relationships, emotional wellbeing, physical health, financial responsibility and living in the wider world. The curriculum promotes resilience, empathy, respect and responsibility, helping children to build positive relationships, make informed choices and become confident, thoughtful and responsible citizens.
myHappymind strongly supports our PSHE curriculum by placing children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing at the heart of learning. Through its structured, evidence‑based programme, pupils develop a deeper understanding of their emotions, how their brain works, and strategies for managing feelings, building resilience and developing positive relationships. The programme complements PSHE themes such as self‑awareness, emotional regulation, relationships and wellbeing, while also promoting a growth mindset, empathy and confidence. By embedding myHappymind across school life, we strengthen pupils’ ability to recognise emotions, make positive choices and maintain good mental health, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed both in school and beyond.
