We have been learning about how sound is produced by vibrations. We have learnt how to recognise pitch and volume changes in a sound wave. We have also studied the parts of the ear and how the eardrum passes on the energy from sound waves through the inner ear where it is converted to electrical signals before being sent to the brain.
