Autumn Term in Little Blues 🍂

We have a very exciting Autumn Term ahead in Little Blues!

We begin the year with our All About Me topic, giving the children lots of opportunities to talk about themselves, their families, their feelings and what makes them special. As autumn arrives, we will explore the changing seasons through stories, outdoor learning and lots of hands-on experiences. 🍁

Some of our lovely focus stories include Owl Babies, The Colour Monster, Oliver’s Vegetables, We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt and The Gruffalo.

After half term, we move on to Traditional Tales, enjoying familiar stories such as The Three Billy Goats Gruff, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs and The Gingerbread Man. We will explore characters, settings and story language, encouraging the children to join in, retell stories and bring them to life through their play.

Along the way, we’ll also celebrate Harvest, Diwali, autumn, Bonfire Night and Christmas, finishing the term with lots of festive fun! 🎄✨💙
