We have been learning to sketch and shade in our art lessons. We have learnt about the Day of the dead and used our shading techniques of hatching, cross hatching, stippling, scribbling and blending. We also used water colours to create shade and tone in our work. Following this, we studied the artist  Jean- Michael Basquiat and used pastels to create a piece in his style.
